Welcome to the Safe-Engineers network

THE resource for safe information, discussion and contacts for all things lock and safe related. If you are a member please log in using the link on the right. If you are working in the safe-engineering world and would like to find out more Safe-engineers.net, please click on the "e-mail here link" in the How to join Safe Engineers.net box over on the left. If you have a problem with a safe or would like a safe moved, please e-mail here to send an e-mail to us and we will attempt to find a safe engineer in your area.

The site was originally set up in 2002 to help British and European safe engineers in their everyday work by building an online resource and communication centre. The site has grown at a steady pace and now has a membership that reaches across the globe as far as the Islands of Fiji, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Uruguay. We have lively discussions in our forums and regularly review new products and safe related issues.

As a non member, you can use the Forum to post messages about problems you may have with a safe - although there may not appear to be many posts, they are seen by over 100 safe engineers who may be able to offer help. Over on the left in the box marked Public you will find articles that may be of interest to you, or help you to fix a problem with your safe. Older articles can be found at the bottom left

On the right, are banner adverts for our sponsors, and we would be grateful if you would click on their logo and visit their websites where available.

We hope that you enjoy your visit and find exactly what you are looking for.

Kind Regards,
Safe Engineers Team
Safe and key identification
Public Articles

There are many different types of safe, even more different types of lock and as a consequence, an even greater range of keys. Hopefully, this article will take some of the confusion out of which keys fit which locks.
