A cheap and highly efficient pick for opening locks that have a curtain can easily he made in the workshop. The cost is negligible but it takes several days to make - or at least it takes me several days to make one. The longest process is making the pins, but having said that, the same pins can be used in several different picks. These pins have to be made very accurately as they go up in .5 turn increments. I will explain how to make these pins, as I think this method is good for making a quantity of very accurately sized pins.
